Prior to visiting a chiropractor, I had met with my physician who diagnosed my sciatica. He treated me by prescribing ibuprofen for the first 4 weeks and then 8 weeks of physical therapy. This treatment gave me minimal improvement.
Then a friend recommended that I visit Dr Hank Hu. In my initial visit he made an adjustment that gave me immediate relief. Then I came back for a few more adjustments to get my back to normal and complete relief from my sciatica. He then advised me on some exercises that would help prevent this condition from returning.
Dr. Hu does an excellent job describing what is causing your discomfort and what he can do to help. He will be upfront with you. If he believes you need to see a specific type of medical doctor, he will tell you.
I’ve known him for 5 years now and go back for only maintenance treatments. He is certainly a skilled chiropractor but he also seems to have an innate ability for this profession. I highly recommend Dr. Hu.
